Whether it’s shaping your thoughts into a cohesive story, word-smithing your own writing or designing the style and layout of your document, we can help.

We offer a unique set of skills combining a talent in writing and storytelling with an expertise in computer word processing to bring you the tools you need to complete your project.

How the process of story writing works:

  1. 1.First, you’ll identify what memories you want to write about.

  2. 2.Then, we’ll create a questionnaire to help jog details about those memories.

  3. 3.Next, you’ll write up a story and find some photos to go along with it.

  4. 4.If you need help writing your story, we can assist you.

  5. 5.Finally, we’ll put everything together in book form.

This process is collaborative in that both you and I will work together to create the most engaging and most appealing book possible.  It can take anywhere from a few weeks to a several months, depending on the length of your story (or stories).

What does it cost?

Pricing is based on how much preliminary work you’ve already completed.  Every story-booking  project is unique and deserves individual attention but the following will give you a general idea of what to expect.

Layout only (no writing or editing) - $6 per page which includes:

  1. Image placement with captions, table of contents and your front/back cover design

  2. You provide all text (as a Word or Pages document) and images in computer files

  3. Minimum fee is $350

  4. $100 non-refundable deposit

  5. Document delivered as a PDF upon completion

Layout with minor writing or text editing - $10 per page which includes:

  1. Image placement with captions, table of contents and your front/back cover design

  2. You provide at least 90% of the text and images in computer files

  3. Minimum fee is $500

  4. $100 non-refundable deposit

  5. Document delivered as a PDF upon completion

Complete project interviewing/recording, writing and layout - request an estimate:

  1. Image placement with captions, table of contents and your front/back cover design

  2. We do all the writing and some or all of the image scanning

  3. Minimum fee is $1000

  4. $250 non-refundable deposit

  5. Document delivered as a PDF upon completion
